Skeelz Connect
Women, what’s to be said about these divine creatures...I don’t know whether to define them or describe them, and since I’m behaving like them (finding it hard to make a decision), I’ll just appreciate them.
Appreciating a female specimen should be default for us men. With much devotion and appreciation of these divine beings, us men can graduate, because being just a man isn’t enough, that’s why even comic characters and super-heroes have a word that’s been inserted before the specific gender to emphasize that he’s more than just a man. Take for instance we have ‘Super’-man, ‘Bat’-man and even ‘Spider’-man, these are just mere, yet familiar examples, I’m not implying we should have capes and attempt flying, or drive around in ‘Bat mobiles’ and make enemies with ‘Jokers’, or have fancy tight body suits and have thread streaming from our wrists as we are swinging from building to building. Besides the impossibilities, it’s really unnecessary. We are humans and things are much simpler and realistic, therefore being appreciating women and being a hero requires you to be ‘GENTLE’-Man
Whether or not a man is born a gentleman or becomes one as he grows is debatable, a debatable topic which I won’t get into, for it will divert us from the topic at hand, Women. Who are these people?
Writer Harriet Beecher Stowe stated that women are the “architects of society”. I second that statement, in fact I agree with it so much that my alter-ego ‘thirds’ it.
If you understand the concept of construction, be it a house, office buildings or a mall, you will know how vital an architect’s job description is. God gave us wisdom and creativity, I agree, but I guarantee none of the above mentioned structures were ever built through creative intuition (or should I say freestyle), and the better the architect the better the structure. So it really saddens me that even in 2012 there are still countries in the world who don’t recognise women’s roles in society, such as some countries in the middle east where you find there isn’t a single women in parliament and cabinet (but I’ll bet you the cleaners are female though). I don’t know whether the man in such countries actually believe that the women are incapable of handling political matters or perhaps they are intimidated by them, meaning they have knowledge of their potential and it frightens them worse than what ‘Scarface’ does to young girls.
I boldly declare myself a gentleman (emphasis on ‘Boldly’), I will not walk along ‘LIE-AVENUE’ and say I was born a gentleman, but through the years I’ve lived I have been collecting & eating ‘granules of wisdom’, and wisdom is about knowledge, and knowledge comes with understanding; which brings me to ‘understanding women’. To understand women you have to understand that you will never FULLY understand them, and that’s no reason to complain about them, or not involve them in things or abuse them. The fact that they are complex creatures makes them uniquely fascinating, so if they were easily understood and not complicated, knowing them wouldn’t be like an adventure. Women are adventure books and if you are lazy to read in to situations the next page will just bore you, especially if you one these readers who just want picture books, women are books with more words and less pictures; for instance it’s not enough to know who they are and favourite colours, you have to know what they like and dislike about who they are and why they prefer certain colours over others.
Earlier I mentioned that I am a gentleman…an appreciator of the opposite sex and humans in general, an aggressively creative mind and character with a polite and gentle way of approach.
Being raised by a single mum contributed to the person I am now. Of course I had those “I wish my mum would just back-of” moments, and those “why can’t she wash the dishes” and even those “why can’t she just get a life and let me do what I want to do”. These moments did not travel alone; they were always accompanied by ‘Dr. Attitude’ and ‘Ms Sulk’, but all that was just a young lad growing up and going through stages. The point is I know it isn’t easy raising a child; its bad enough people have a hard time taking care of themselves, so taking care of another being has to be quite stressful. Therefore I confirm my mom as ‘Superwoman’, regardless of what others can think or say, that woman did a better job at raising me more than some homesteads where both mother and father are present.
I am ‘Why-natured’ person, I’m an overly curious homo sapien, for a lot of things I don’t understand, in fact even the things I do understand, I still manage to apply a ‘why’…information is never enough for me, I like insight. I’ve been curious ever since I could breathe on my own. I was curious why my umbilical cord had to be cut, I was even curious as to why my mother had two of those milk bags on her chest since there was only one me. So thanks to my levels of curiosity I never just got information, I received insight, and the same works with women, you can only understand a fraction on what goes on beyond their scalps. Information on women will not bring understanding, what will bring you close to understanding is insight, insight such as the fact that they are not necessarily logical creatures, men are more like that, women operate more on their emotional intuition, and whenever emotions are involved, patience must be involved as well, and that my dear reader is a another gentleman credential, Patience. We men (young and old) have got to get our “Patience Tokens” and make use of them along with the logic we’ve been gracefully given by God free of charge. Another thing men have to get into heads is that these emotions are going to be there whether they like it not.
What I imagine happens is that women are given a free ‘Emotional package voucher’, that obviously lasts them a lifetime, so they can use it anytime for as long as they are not declared deceased. At times they will use this voucher where it’s inappropriate and that usually rubs a man the wrong way, which is where the patience comes into play, and if you play right as man, you shall be favoured because what I didn’t mention is that this ‘emotional voucher’ has goodies inside, such as Love Lollipops, Faithfulness Fudge, Care Cookies, Trust Toffees and other treats which I’m sure most man want to be shared with them.
So let’s ‘UP’ lift women and we won’t be let ‘DOWN’.
